FERRIDAY — Funeral services for Jean Carter, 67, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Charles Minor officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Jean was born May 30, 1946, in Ferriday, the daughter of Dan and Sarah Hagan Austin.

Survivors include one daughter, Tywanna C. Crockett and husband Israel; one sister, Lillie Mae Deleho and husband Cleveland; two grandchildren; two special friends, Estelle Collins and Emma Campbell, all of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
