Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Crofford of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Carla Beth Crofford to Christopher Jason Myers, son of Jack Myers Jr. of Ferriday. The groom-to-be is also the son of the late Mrs. Jeanette Myers of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School.

She is employed by Crofford Welding and Machine Works Inc. in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Earl Doré of New Iberia, La., and the late Mrs. Ethel Doré of Vidalia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vern Crofford of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Monterey High School.

He is employed by Crofford Welding and Machine Works Inc. of Vidalia.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith of Ferriday and Mrs. Jack Myers Sr. of Natchez and the late Mr. Jack Myers Sr.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Twin Oaks Bed and Breakfast in Natchez.

A reception will follow in the garden of Twin Oaks Bed and Breakfast.
