STAMPLEY — Services for Nancy Lee Reed, 64, of Fayette, who died Thursday, May 15, 2014, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Walter Chambers officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Reed was born Sept. 5, 1949, in Franklin County, the daughter of James Bullen and Lottie Bee.

She was retired from the Jefferson County School System.

She was a Baptist and served as a deaconess.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, James Reed Jr.; one son, Calvin Reed and wife, Rosalyn, of Stampley; one daughter, Kelita Berry and husband, Dennis Nix, of Roxie; step daughters, Katrina Johnson of Milwaukee, Wis., and Kim Duncan of Natchez; three brothers, Glen Bee and wife, Betty Ann, Willie Charles Bee, both of Bude, and Melvin Bee of Meadville; two sisters, Maggie Jackson and husband, L.J., and Dorothy Adams, all of Natchez; 10 grandchildren, Keith Johnson, Marketa Bill, Antonia Evens, Latarga Combs, Paris Nix, De’Antea Berry, D’Marius Nix, Ke’Darvis Berry, Alexis Reed and Calvin Reed Jr.
