OXFORD (AP) — Friday’s opening baseball games at the NCAA Oxford Regional have been postponed due to impending inclement weather in the area and field conditions following rains earlier in the day.

Play will officially begin at the NCAA Oxford Regional on Saturday with an amended schedule. Washington and Georgia Tech are scheduled to play at 1 p.m. today, followed by host Ole Miss and Jacksonville State at 5 p.m.

Sunday’s games will begin at 11 a.m. as a part of a three-game schedule with game two at 3 p.m. and game three at 7 p.m.

The Regional Championship game will be played at 2 p.m. on Monday with the if necessary game set for a 7 p.m. first pitch.
