Thomas Graning / The Natchez Democrat — Firefighters from Concordia Parish Fire District No. 2 responded to a fire on Calhoun Road outside the Ferriday city limits Sunday evening. The units responded to the fire at approximately 7:30 p.m. The structure was an abandoned house, and the state fire marshall’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
