FERRIDAY — A two-vehicle collision on U.S. 84 near Frogmore Thursday sent a North Carolina man to an Alexandria hospital.

William Henry Koenig, 49, of Raeford, N.C., who was driving a 2014 GMC pickup truck, was transported to Rapides Regional Trauma Center following a collision with another pickup truck on U.S. 84 in Frogmore at approximately 1:17 p.m. Thursday, according to a Louisiana State Police report.

The other pickup truck, a 2011 Chevrolet, was driven by George Lester, 57, of Center Point. Lester’s injuries were not listed on the report. Lester’s passenger, Elizabeth Lester, 52, also of Center Point, was transported to Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday with minor injuries.
