NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Barney Lee Fleming, 62, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow at Watkins Street Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Fleming was born, Oct. 19, 1951 in Natchez, the son of Marion Lee Fleming and Rufus Ellis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Alma Oneal Fleming and one brother, Dennis Fleming.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Patricia Fleming; five sons, Barney Hawkins, Schaunn Lawrence, Floyd Lawrence, and Greg Moffett all of Natchez, and Brandon Sims of Washington; five daughters, Tiffany Fleming and husband, Montrell, Naomi Jones and husband, Demetrick, all of Natchez, Diamond Fleming of Alexandria, Kenya Sims of Washington and Leila Sims of Philadelphia; three brothers, Llewellyn Letcher and Clarence Letcher both of Natchez and Tommy Bibbins of St. Louis; four sisters, Sharon Letcher, Sheila Letcher, Tammy Williams and husband, Ernest, and Deonna Fleming all of Natchez; a special sister-in-law, Rita Jackson of Natchez; and a number of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Lawrence, Jamale Minor, Schaunn Lawrence, Damian Fleming, Tavares Letcher and Darren Fleming.
