Lavon Andre Surratt and Brittany An’Minena Bell announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Henry and Bettye Bell.

She is a graduate of Natchez High School and a 2003 graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C.

She is the granddaughter of the late Clarence and Lillie Bell of Harriston.

The groom-to-be is a native of South Jersey and also attended Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Brittany and Lavon have chosen the first day of their new life together as Monday, July 7, 2014, at Oxon Hill Manor, 6901 Oxon Hill Road, Fort Washington, Md.
