FAYETTE — Services for Louise Doss Hunter, 94, of Fayette, who died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at River Regions Medical Center, in Vicksburg, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hunter Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.08:08 Louise Hunter obitpic

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Hunter was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Jefferson County, the daugther of Harry and Maggie Doss.

Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband, David Hunter Sr.; her parents; one daughter, Hester Mae Felton; three brothers, J.P. Doss, Alex Doss and Harry Doss; four sisters, Ethel Davis, Cora Williams, Getty Allen and Willie Mae Culbert.

Survivors include two sons, Jesse Lee Hunter and wife, Helen, and David Hunter Jr. and wife, Treleda; two daughters, Lillie Mae Felton and husband, Will T., and Sarah Brooks; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; one brother, Julius Doss and wife, Irene; two sisters, Mary Lee Fuller and Dora Coleman; one niece, Anna Green; two special friends, Rose Hall and L.V. Frye; and a number of nephews, nieces, in-laws and other relatives and friends.
