GREENVILLE — Despite playing in brutal heat and humidity, Adams County Christian School’s varsity girls’ soccer team won both of its games Saturday at the Delta Heat Classic hosted at Washington School.
In their first game of the day, the Lady Rebels got a hat trick from Jordan Parker in their 3-1 win over the Marshall Academy Lady Patriots.
“Great defense and, as always, keeper Anna Kate Scott saved the day many times today,” ACCS head coach Jimmy Allgood said.
Then in the second game, Karrigan Eidt scored two goals and Parker added another goal in a 3-0 win over the Lee Academy Lady Colts from Clarksdale.
“Yes, it was hot on the 11 ladies that made the trip, but it was an awesome day for Adams Christian soccer,” Allgood said. “Our high school team showed lots of guts and some great passing, trapping and shooting skills showed up today.”
ACCS (4-3) next plays Wednesday at River Oaks School with the varsity game starting at 4 p.m.
