Natchez-Adams School District officials and Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies escort a group of students Monday afternoon to an empty bus after their bus, at left, was involved in an accident with a Waste Pro garbage truck on Steamplant Road. According to a Waste Pro official, the school bus tried to drive around the garbage truck when it hit the back corner of the truck, tearing off part of the truck and flattening the tire of the bus.
