Survivors include his wife, Katherine Rabalais Simpson; daughter, Racheal Sue Madenwald and husband, Chad, of Fort Collins, Colo.; son, Kenneth Wayne Simpson of Boyce, La; three brothers, William Ray Simpson, and wife, Kitty, of Natchez, Garry Simpson and wife, Jan, of Vidalia and Wade Simpson of Natchez; parents, Ray and Joyce Simpson of Vidalia; brother-in-law Leonard Rabalais; and his best friend and wing man, his black lab, Butch.
