NATCHEZ — The Adams County Board of Supervisors will have a public hearing for its proposed 2014-2015 fiscal year budget Monday.
One of the ads previously published by the board erroneously said the hearing would be today, County Administrator Joe Murray said.
The hearing will be 5:30 p.m. Monday, with the final budget being adopted 11 a.m. Sept. 15.
The proposed budget includes $23,846,086 in revenues, of which, 57.48 percent — or $13,707,748 — will be financed by ad valorem tax levy.
The proposed budget also includes an increase of 2.24 mills in ad valorem taxes as levied by the Natchez-Adams School District.
The hearing will be in the board room on the first floor of the board of supervisors’ offices at 314 State St.
