GLOSTER — Services for Ellen Rose Anderson Robinson, 79, of Gloster, who died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Star Hill Christian Methodist Church, in Gloster, with the Rev. Garrick Thompson officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Robinson was born June 19, 1935, in Liberty, the daughter of Darby and Florence Hunt Anderson.

She served on the mother board, the usher board, stewardess board, board of trustees and class leader at Star Hill.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Robinson; one son, Thomas L. Robinson; two brothers, Ardell and Terry Anderson; and three sisters, Bessie VanNorman, Ruby Walker and Essie Anderson.

Survivors include five sons, Edward L. Anderson and wife, Lyvonne, John C. Robinson and wife, Shelia, Charles T. Robinson, Robert E. Robinson and Carl Robinson; three daughters, Jerri Snowden, Joan King and husband, Osear, and Linda Robinson; two sisters, Gladys Anderson and Bertha Robinson; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
