NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Harry Brown Jr., 83, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon today at the Natchez National Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born Jan. 30, 1931, in Mississippi, the son of Harry Brown Sr. and Lizella Stewart Brown.

Mr. Brown was a 1950 graduate of Brumfield School. He attended Alcorn College and Natchez College.

Mr. Brown was a true Catholic.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a longtime employee of Doughty Moving and Storage Company.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Tyrone Brown.

Survivors include other relatives and friends.
