NATCHEZ — Services for J’Prince Jakel Washington, 2, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, in Zachary, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Gate Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

J’Prince was born Jan. 16, 2012, in Natchez, the son of Jasmin Nicole Washington and Kelvin Lamont Abraham.

He loved to listen to music and playing in the water. He also loved to dress up in big shoes.

J’Prince was a loving and happy baby who was full of life.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Bryant Mearday and Nedrick Hawkins Jr.; grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Cole, Carl Washington Sr., Lazenda Abraham and James Smith; godmother, Natalie Letcher; five aunts; three uncles; and one cousin, Anthony Jr.
