Mr. and Mrs. Kenny France of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Nicole France to James Eric Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith of Roxie.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez.

She is employed by Adams County Christian Learning Center in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George France and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.I. Burlison all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Franklin County High School in Meadville.

He is employed by The Markets in Natchez.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cody Smith of Magee and Mrs. Nancy Northup and the late Dwight Northup of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at McNeely Road Church of God in Natchez.

A reception will follow at Natchez Community Center.
