NATCHEZ — A Monterey man died Saturday night after he lost control of his motorcycle on Cloverdale Road and sustained serious injuries.
Brandon Palmer, 25, was transported by ambulance to Natchez Regional Medical Center at approximately 5 p.m. Saturday after he lost control of his motorcycle while traveling on Cloverdale Road, Adams County Coroner James Lee said.
Lee said Palmer exited the roadway and sustained serious injuries, but didn’t collide with another vehicle.
An airlift transport was ready to take Palmer to a Jackson hospital when he took a turn for the worse, Lee said.
Palmer was pronounced dead at NRMC.
A memorial fund was created Sunday on gofundme.com to raise money for Palmer’s burial expenses.
Nearly $1,900 of the $10,000 goal was collected as of late Sunday.
