FERRIDAY — Memorial services for William Kermit “Duke” Loomis, 50, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel with Clyde Ray Webber and the Rev. Mark Richardson officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Duke was born Nov. 5, 1963, in Ferriday, the son of William Kermit Loomis Jr. and Betty Grace Person Loomis.
He was a life long resident of Ferriday and Lake St. John.
Mr. Loomis was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Loomis of Ferriday and Taylor Loomis of Natchez; his mother of Ferriday; three sisters, Sandra Tiffee and husband, Scott, of Monterey, Cindy Boykin of Ferriday and Kelly Billeaud and husband, Lee, of Carencro, La.; three grandchildren, Zoe-Grace Loomis, Michael Seguin and Trenton Seguin, all of Ferriday; special friend, Niki Miller of Ferriday; constant companion, “Ace”; and a number of friends and family who dearly loved him.
