LORMAN — Services for Dr. Rudolph E. Waters Sr., 82, who died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, at the River Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, were 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at the Davey L. Whitney Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex on the campus of Alcorn State University with the Rev. Elijah Brown officiating.

Burial followed at the Carbondale Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., in Port Gibson.

Dr. Waters served at Alcorn for more than 48 years.
