Shawn M. Brown and Raymond D. Miller, both of Natchez, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Dorothy M. McKnight of Natchez and the groom-to-be is the son of the late Josie Lee Miller of Jackson.

Ms. Brown is a graduate of Natchez High School and is self-employed.

She is the granddaughter of the late William McKnight and the late Isabelle McKnight, both of Natchez.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of Coffeeville High School in Yellow Bush County and a graduate of Jackson State University. He is employed by Mack Flurry in Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Pilgrim Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the old Brick House on Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
