Jameson Rogers pleaded guilty to possession of a scheduled I controlled substance, marijuana, more than 250 grams but less than 500 grams without intent to distribute and without firearm enhancement in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court. Sentenced to six years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Must pay all court costs in the amount of $422.50 and prosecution fee of $200 in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk. Count II (possession of a firearm by a convicted felon) is dismissed.

Thursday, Sept. 25

Jessie Avon Davis has his probation revoked in Judge Sanders’ court for violating terms and conditions of his probation: rule numbered ten (10) not violate any laws of the United States. Sentenced to five years in MDOC.

Jon Dale Adams Jr., a.k.a. Johnny Pigg, pleaded guilty to grand larceny in an amount being more than $1,000 but less than $5,000 (count I) in Judge Forrest “Al” Johnson’s court. Sentenced to four years in the MDOC. Must pay restitution in the amount of $833.33, all court costs and fees, and a prosecution fee of $200. Counts II (conspiracy to commit grand larceny) and III (possession of a weapon by a convicted felon) are dismissed.

Lonnie D. Green pleaded guilty to possession of a schedule II controlled substance (count I) and sale of a schedule II controlled substance, cocaine (Count II) in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC. After serving two years, the defendant is placed on three years formal post release supervision, which shall be supervised under the supervision of the MDOC. Must pay all court costs and fees in the amount of $422.50 and a prosecution fee of $200 in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk.

Joseph Riley Hoke pleaded guilty to statutory rape (counts I and II) in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to 30 years in the custody of MDOC to run concurrently in counts I and II. Count III (possession of a weapon by a convicted felon) is retired to files.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, Sept. 19

Johnnie Lynn Anders, 43, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all locations of Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Edward Anderson pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $623.

Delandro J. Bell, 25, pleaded guilty to vile and profane language in public. Sentenced to 10 days with five days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for five days served. Fine set at $248.

Willie Ruth Carter, 49, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $643.

Ciara Ashante Chatman, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Alton Day, 50, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Clarence Hill III, 30, found guilty of public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Curtis Sanders, 40, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to serve 53 days in jail. No fine assessed.

Barbara Pettie Sharpe, 64, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Herman L. Washington Jr., 28, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Monday, Sept. 22

Tiffany Hall, 33, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Tuesday, Sept. 23

Montrell R. Conner, 26, charged with aggravated assault ext. indifference. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $90,000 to $50,000.

Felicia Cotton Brice, 43, charged with aggravated assault. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing. Bond set at $45,000.

Willie Stewart, 21, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault at request of victim’s mother. Sentenced to 60 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for 31 days served. Fine set at $723. Bond set at $67,500.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

Michael S. Jackson, 46, pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Fine set at $623.

Michael S. Jackson, 46, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Fine set at $586.

Jacklyn S. Mills, 21, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor uttering a forgery. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $800.

Amanda D. Jenkins, 47, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor uttering a forgery. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $800.

Kimberly Veal, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Lakobi Beasley, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Belk locations. Fine set at $573.

Ren-michael Allen Brown, 28, found not guilty of disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer.

Terence L. Hawkins, 30, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Belk locations. Fine set at $573.

Edwin Holmes Jr., 61, pleaded guilty to trespassing upon enclosed land. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Stonenikita. Fine set at $448.

Tirrell Wiggins pleaded guilty to simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Fine set at $623.

Wednesday, Oct. 1

Jessica Simpson Biglane, 31, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573. Biglane also pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Elijah Kendrick Hoggatt, 39, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $555. Restitution set at $850.

Shareka Lashay Barber, 22, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Joshua Jackson, 24, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Kenzell D. Isaac, 18, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423.

John Craig, 67, pleaded guilty to 15 counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $5,210.65.

Sheena L. Jenkins, 29, pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $1,209.86.
