VIDALIA — Kenneth R. Seawright, 76, of Vidalia, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at his residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Seawright was born June 10, 1938, in Hermanville, the son of John Adolfhus and Annie Mildred Williams Seawright.
He was a car salesman and business owner for a number of years.
Mr. Seawright served in the U.S. Air Force. He lived in Port Gibson for a short time before he moved to Vidalia. He loved to fish with his friends and he loved to coach little league baseball teams in the area.
Mr. Seawright was a hard worker and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patricia Ann Ungerer Seawright.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth R. Seawright; three sons, David Allen Seawright and wife, Sheila, of Kenner, La., Paige James and Harold Richardson, both of Monterey; seven grandchildren, Patricia, Olivia and Phillip, all of Kenner, Chad, Ty, Pepper and Payton, all of Monterey; one brother, Jerry Seawright of Port Gibson; and one nephew, Will Seawright of Colorado.
