NATCHEZ — Traffic on the westbound span on U.S. 84 Mississippi River bridge will have size restrictions for a week.

No loads wider than 12 feet will be allowed on the westbound span of the bridge between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Thursday until Oct. 16, according to a news release from the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

The width restrictions will be in place to allow for bridge inspections, the release said.

The inspections will be done by HNTB Corporation.
