NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Addie Howard Cooper, 93, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, in Vidalia, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cooper was born Jan. 3, 1921, in Pleasant Hill, La., the daughter of John Howard and Nellie McPhearson Howard Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle Cooper; one brother, Odie Howard; and three sisters, Annie Mae Webb, Louise Webb and Sally Jane Johnson.
Survivors include three sons, Randall L. Cooper and wife, Toni, of Canton, Joe Scott Cooper and wife, Leslie, of New Orleans and John Cooper and wife, Regina, of Hazlehurst; one daughter, Sandra Frank of Natchez; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
A special thanks to the staff of Camellia Hospice, Anna Laura Orr, Penny Crane, Angie Harris, Mrs. Helen White, Gloria Ann Ross and Anna Price.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
