The Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the 2014 Gala Membership Celebration. Mark your calendars for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the Natchez Convention Center.

We are excited about this year’s event as we celebrate our 106th year as a chamber and commemorate our standing as the oldest Chamber in Mississippi.

Our Gala will have a fun and festive atmosphere, while we recognize the year’s voluntary efforts of business and professional men and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the progress of our community.

Our gala theme is “Red Blue Review.” The highlight of the evening will be our special guests, political analysis Democrat Jere Nash and Republican Andy Taggart who do not agree on much.

These fellow’s “lively conversation” will engage us as we anticipate the upcoming political scene. Local chefs will add to the evening by preparing some of our favorite foods. The popular silent auction will round out an event that you don’t want to miss.

Also, on this night, awards will be presented to both a man and a woman who have given unselfishly of their time and effort for the betterment of Natchez and Adams County (Natchezian Award), as well as a Small and Large Business Award honoring successful companies in our community.

Our levels of sponsorship have remained the same, and they include:

Platinum sponsorship for $2,000, which includes reception and 20 people seated for dinner and entertainment.

Gold sponsorship for $1,000, which includes reception and 10 people seated for dinner and entertainment.

Silver sponsorship for $500, which includes reception and five people seated for dinner and entertainment.

Reception sponsorship for $250, which includes reception and two people seated for dinner and entertainment.
