JACKSON — The Mississippi Business Journal has named Natchez native Jim Koerber — a certified public accountant — one its Leaders in Finance for 2014.

Those upon whom the journal bestows the honor are nominated for fiscal work that the journal feels has set the pace for their company and region. Those who are ultimately chosen are based on their industry and community involvement and achievements resulting from their work.

The award ceremony recognizing Koerber’s selection was Sept. 19 in Jackson.

Koerber is a shareholder in The Koerber Company, PA, a Hattiesburg accounting firm that limits its work to valuation and litigation services for attorneys, certified public accountants and their clients.
