Mr. and Mrs. Alfred E. Mazzei of Metairie, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Paige Emma Mazzei to Bourne Emanuel Zerby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Blair S. Zerby of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Leslie Weigel Mazzei of Metairie.

She is a graduate of Cabrini High School in New Orleans and a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a degree in tourism, restaurant and hotel management.

She is employed as the director of event planning for the New Orleans Downtown Convention Center Marriott.

She is the granddaughter of the late Jerry and Barbara Weigel and the late Alfred and Vivian Mazzei, all of New Orleans.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg with a degree in hospitality management.

He is also employed by the New Orleans Downtown Convention Center Marriott as director of banquet services.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Leo P. Burns of Marysville, Ohio and Mrs. Al G. Zerby Jr. and the late Mr. Zerby of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at St. Mary’s Italian Church in New Orleans.

A reception will follow at Pat O’s on the river at the Jackson Brewery.
