NATCHEZ — Severe thunderstorms are expected to hit the Miss-Lou this afternoon.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather advisory for Adams County and Concordia Parish throughout the day.

The advisory states the inclement weather is expected between 1 and 7 p.m. and could produce severe thunderstorms, hail and even possible tornadoes.

Damaging winds in excess of 60 mph are also forecast for the area.

The advisory states the severe activity will continue into the evening hours before the line of storms exits to the east around midnight.
