NATCHEZ — Services for Joseph Conner, 68, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at Jacquith Nursing Home in Whitfield, will be at noon today at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Natchez with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow at Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Conner was born May 8, 1946, in Natchez, the son of Henry Conner Jr. and Bessie Smith Conner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Conner; and two sisters, Orange Lee Banks and Annie Bell Conner.

Survivors include four sisters, Rosalie Anderson and husband, Robert, Pearlena Johnson and husband, Richard, all of Natchez, Bessie Tyler Harvey and husband, Leroy, of Harvey, La., and Willie Mae Eugene of New Orleans; three brothers, Robert Connor and wife, Dorothy, of New Orleans, Walter Connor and wife, Marjorie, of Gerryville and Isiah Connor; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
