Bill Atkins and Raymond and Dianne Nicholson of Jonesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth J. Atkins to Glen B. McGlothin Jr. of Vidalia, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard McGlothin of Ferriday.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Block High School in Jonesville and attended the University of Louisiana in Monroe, La.

She is employed by Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Levia Atkins and the late Barney Atkins and the late L.C. and Betty Jo Swayze Scott, all of Jonesville.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Ferriday High School and attended Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe.

He is employed by the City of Vidalia.

The couple will have a private wedding ceremony, Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014.

A reception will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Panola Woods Country Club in Ferriday.

Family and friends are invited.
