VIDALIA — To say Grayson Tosspon is excited about Halloween is an understatement.

The 4-year-old has big plans for this year’s celebrations.

When The Dart landed on Elm Street in Vidalia, Grayson was inflating the Halloween lawn ornaments in his family’s front yard in his Halloween costume of “Toothless” from the movie “How to Train Your Dragon.”

“I love Halloween,” he said. “I love costumes and I love spooky things.”

The Tosspon family has been gearing up for Halloween for a few weeks already.

“I like to decorate regardless of the holiday,” said Haily Tosspon, Grayson’s mother.

Grayson has been right there next to his parents the whole time while decorating.

“Every time I set something up, he moves it around to where he wants it,” Haily said.

In the Tosspon’s front yard, they have four different inflatable lawn ornaments as well as other odds and ends decorations, but the preparations do not stop there.

“It is all for Grayson, he loves it, and we love to see how happy it makes him,” Haley said.

Grayson has four different costumes to chose from for the big day — Raphael from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, a Skylander and two different Toothless costumes.

With all those options, making a decision should prove difficult. But Grayson is not worried. He has an easy solution.

“I am going to be a Skylander on the first Halloween,” he said, “I’ll be a Ninja Turtle on the second Halloween, I’ll be a Toothless on the third, then on the fourth, I will be Toothless again.”

Grayson is not thinking about Halloween celebrations years down the road.

“That is his costume schedule for next week,” Haley said. “He plans on wearing costumes everyday.”
