NATCHEZ — Services for Willie “Bo Willie” Johnson, 78, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at Adams County Nursing Center, will be at noon Saturday at United Baptist Church with the Rev. Samuel Hunt officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Johnson was the lead singer of the Natchez Tornado Singing Quartet for more than 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Thelma Thomas; and long time companion, Oceola Wright.

Survivors include three brothers, Robert Myles and companion, Mary Ann, of Natchez, Tommy Myles and wife, Dorothy, and Joseph Myles and wife, Doris, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; one stepson, Ralph Wright of Natchez; one stepdaughter, Lucy Johnson; two aunts, Dorothy Mae Covington and Bernice Smith, both of Natchez; three nephews, James Myles and wife, Susan, of Deltona, Fla., Clifford Myles of Minneapolis and Jeffury Shell of Natchez; and a number of other relatives.
