NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Claude McDaniel “Dan” Mullins, 61, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at his residence, was at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Speed officiating.
Burial followed under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation was from noon to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mullins was born Oct. 3, 1953, in Natchez, the son of Marvin P. Mullins Sr. and Helen Bryant Mullins. He attended South Natchez High School and completed his education in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Mr. Mullins was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claude and Mary Bryant, paternal grandparents, Francis Luther and Bertha Mullins; and one sister, Beverly Sue Mullins.
Survivors include his parents of Vidalia; daughter, Louise E. Mullins Dias and husband, Michael, of Eliot, Maine; son, Phillip S. Mullins; two grandsons, Aidan and Sebastian Dias of Eliot; one sister, Patricia A. Scott of Natchez; two brothers, Marvin P. Mullins Jr. and wife, Susan Reynolds, of Houma, La., and Robert Earl Mullins of Fayetteville, Ga.
Pallbearers wereRobert Mullins, Marvin P. Mullins Jr., Brent Weadock, James Edmisson, Charles Blaney and Tim Mullins.
