CENTREVILLE — Services for Dixie Ravernell McNees, 81, of Centreville, who died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville, will be at noon Saturday at Newman Funeral Home in Centreville with the Rev. Bernard Waites and the Rev. Jimmy McNees officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Newman Funeral Home.
Mrs. McNees was born Feb. 6, 1933, the daughter of Ronald T. Owens and Amanda Rothman Owens.
She was a homemaker and a member of Corinth Church of Christ.
Mrs. McNees was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Howard McNees; three sisters; two brothers; and one grandson, Bennett Walker.
Survivors include two daughters, Juanita Freeman and husband, Mike, of Liberty and Ann Cavin and husband, Nolan, of Natchez; one son, James McNees and wife, Lana, of Hamilton, Ala.; one sister, Mary Fern Reimer of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Freeman, Joel Brown, Ruston Cavin, Landon Cavin, Justin Cavin and Auston Cavin.
