NATCHEZ — Services for Felicia Brooks, 44, of Gloster, who died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Dandridge Brooks Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Free Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Doloroso under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Rose Hill Baptist Church and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brooks was born July 15, 1970, in Natchez, the daughter of Edward Carter and Martha Phipps Carter.

She was employed as a dental assistant supervisor at the Louisiana State Penitentiary.

She was Baptist.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Henry and Pheobe Phipps; and paternal grandparents, Jasper and Bessie Stewman Carter.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Dandridge Brooks Sr.; her mother of Doloroso; one son, Dandridge Brooks Jr. of Gloster; one daughter, Diamond Carter of Gloster; one stepson, Jordan Brooks of LaPlace, La.; three sisters, Linda Wilson of Woodville, Angela Walker and husband, William, of Doloroso and Brenda Russell and husband, Henry, of Natchez; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
