Vidalia Fire flushing hydrants in city limits

VIDALIA — The Vidalia Fire Department will be flushing fire hydrants inside the city limits of Vidalia through the end of the month.
The hydrant flushing may cause the water to be discolored in the area where the flushing is taking place.
The water will be safe for consumption at all times.
The procedure, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will take approximately four weeks to complete.
The areas and dates of the work are as follows:

4Levee to Azalea Drive
4South to Logan Sewell Drive
Nov. 17-21
4North of Carter Street
4Front Street to Guillory Street
4All of Murray Addition
Nov. 24-28
4North of Carter Street
4Murray Drive to city limits going west
4South of Carter Street to the Georgetown subdivision
