NATCHEZ — Services for Jean Stephens Brown, 82, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown was born June 22, 1932, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Victor H. Stephens and Mattie Ivy Stephens.

She was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lavern “Preacher” Brown; three sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include one son, Neil Brown and wife, Martha, of Natchez; one daughter, Charlotte Smith and husband, Bobby, of Natchez; three grandchildren, Vick Brown and wife, Pascha, of Vidalia, Jennifer Dungan and husband, Derek, and Dilou Smith, all of Natchez; five great-grandchildren, Megan, Gentry, Pyper, Priya and Austin; two sisters, Elaine Rutland of Brookhaven and Jessie Locke of Dothan, La.; one brother, John Garrett Stephens of Bay Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Walter Havard, Robbie Stephens, Dale Stephens, Derek Dungan, Nathan Oliver and Tony Ballard.
