Residents got the chance to taste the first sips of Charboneau rum Friday evening at King’s Tavern during Carboneau Distillery’s Rum launch party. The distillery just finished bottling its first batch of rum and plans to sell it in stores across the state including King’s Tavern’s craft liquor store on the second floor of the tavern.
