ROXIE — Services for Oliver King, 64, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab in Ferriday, will be at noon today at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roxie.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. King was born June 29, 1950, in Ashley, the son of Charley and Ellen Ozan King.
He was a brick mason.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include three sons, Oliver Hughes of Houston, Terry Williams and Oliver Williams, both of Natchez; two daughters, Peggy Smith of Natchez and Tatyana King of Atlanta; three brothers, Willie King and wife, Connie, of Ferriday, Phillip King and wife, Bobbie, of Covington, Ga., and Connie Brown and wife, Thelia, of New Orleans; one sister, Joy Mayes of Ferriday; two special nieces, Jacqueline Johnson and husband, Keitherick, and Antwine Carter and husband, Reggie, all of Ferriday; four grandchildren; one uncle, Percy Bernard and wife, Bertha; special friend, Ruby Beamer, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
