VIDALIA — Services for Wanda Gray, 59, of Vicksburg, formerly of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at the Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at noon Wednesday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Ms. Gray was born Feb. 14, 1955, in Vidalia, the daughter of Clarence “Moody” Powell and Ollie Wells Powell.

She was preceded in death by her mother; one uncle, Albert Wells; and maternal grandparents, Oliver and Alberta Wells.

Survivors include one daughter, Lauren Johnson; one grandchild, Dashaun, both of Gaithersburg, Md.; her father of Vidalia; three brothers, Kalpatrick Wells and wife, Daffney, of Vicksburg, Oliver Powell and wife, Kimberly, of Rowlett, Texas and the Rev. John Armstrong of wife, Ann, of Kentwood, La.; five sisters, Marlene Bell and husband, Jerome, of Upper Malboro, Md., Arlona Morgan and husband, Clarence, of Baker, La., Adrea Hinton and husband, Willie, Melissa Dunbar and husband, Louis, all of Vicksburg, and Raquel Powell of Lanham, Md.; one uncle, Frank Wells of Huffman, Texas; two aunts, Josie Sims of Waco, Texas and Helen Wells of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
