Charles and Jenny Tarver of Wildsville and Julius and Mary Huhn of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Donna Tarver to Jacob Jones, son of Reba Jones of Natchez and the late Lehman Jones.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Huntington High School in Ferriday and a graduate of the University of Louisiana in Monroe, La.

She is currently enrolled in the master’s of occupational therapy program at the University of Louisiana in Monroe and working as an occupational therapist assistant at Glenburney Nursing Home.

Donna is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tarver of Ferriday and Mr. and Mrs. Milton F. Chandler of Pascagoula.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is currently employed by Seadrill Americas.

Jacob is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Walter Briggs and the late Mr. and Mrs. Buford Jones, all of Jonesville.

A private wedding ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez.

A reception for friends and family will follow at Magnolia Hall in Natchez.
