LAKE ST. JOHN — Memorial services for Marie Ford Franklin, 63, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at her residence, will be at 5 p.m. Friday Lake St. John Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Richardson officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Franklin was born July 26, 1951, in La Center, Ky.

She was a homemaker who loved to read and sew.

Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Paul Wilson and Jerry Wayne Wilson.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ronnie Franklin; her mother, Cynthia Wilson of Jonesville; one son, Clinton V. Franklin of Ferriday; one sister, Christie Martin; one sister-in-law, Jo Lea Sebille; and one uncle, Bud Ford of La Center.
