Mississippi High School Athletic Association executive director Don Hinton said Tuesday that no change has been made regarding Cathedral’s Wyatt Boothe’s eligibility, and that the executive board would continue looking into the transfer.

Hinton said the MHSAA would meet again Monday to discuss the matter.

“We are looking at the rules and guidelines, as well as the nature of the transfer,” Hinton said.

Boothe, a resident of Ferriday, received permission by the MHSAA to play for the Green Wave in his senior season. But after another school in the association requested that his eligibility be investigated during Cathedral’s playoff run, discussions between Cathedral and the MHSAA have occurred since Thursday.
