LIBERTY — Services for Ardell Robinson Sr., 59, of Liberty, who died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville, will be at 3 p.m. today at West Jerusalem Baptist Church in Liberty with the Rev. Londia Weatherspoon officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Robinson was born Aug. 23, 1955, in Wilkinson County, the son of Julius “One Boot” and Ada Mae McKnight Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Penn and Hattie Robinson; one granddaughter, Serenity Robinson; one sister, Leola Robinson; and two nephews, Jamie Robinson and Milton Robinson.

Survivors include one daughter, Tanika Demouchet and husband, Joseph, of Liberty; one son, Ardell Robinson Jr. and fiancée, Yashica Adams, of McCall Creek; one stepdaughter, Theresa Ross and husband, Eric, of Liberty; two brothers, A.B. Robinson and wife, Jane, of Columbus and William Robinson of Liberty; four sisters, Barney Bell Robinson, Pauline Robinson and husband, Cleo, Cherron Robinson and Wilma Robinson, all of Liberty; seven grandchildren; three nieces; four nephews; and a number of other relatives and friends.
