NATCHEZ — Services for Crecedia “Faddy” Terrell, 53, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, were Saturday at Forest Aid Baptist Church with the Rev. Michelle Brooks officiating.
Burial followed in Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Ms. Terrell was born March 6, 1961, in Natchez, the daughter of Isaac Terrell and Mildred Terrell.
She attended Natchez-Adams School District. She was a caregiver and an employee of Isle of Capri Casino.
Ms. Terrell was baptized at an early age and joined the Grove A.M.E. Church. She served as president of the usher board and treasurer for the trustee board.
Ms. Terrell enjoyed cooking and attending to her five wonderful grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Anqwonn Trenoid Terrell; two brothers, Lovell Chartell Terrell and Troy Anthony Terrell; grandparents, Leo Blanton Sr. and Emma Blanton and Louise Terrell; one nephew, Marcque Roshaun Terrell; five uncles, Leo Blanton Jr., Weaver Terrell, Frank Dent, McKinley Phipps and Boyzi Forbes; two aunts, Virginia Terrell and Virginia Forbes; and a number of other dear relatives and friends.
Survivors include one daughter, Shaunequa Manyon Terrell and fiancé, Carl Firley, of Natchez; her mother of Natchez; significant other, Charles Jones of Natchez; one stepson, Kevin Hooker Sr. of Natchez; five grandchildren, Deontre Terrell of Baton Rouge, Deontrevious Firley, Carl Firley Jr., Taliyah Firley and Tykerrionna Terrell, all of Natchez; two step-grandsons, Kevin Hooker Jr. of Atlanta and Kyla Hooker of Natchez; three godchildren, Jontorick Terrell, Kayven Braideaux and Khylin Green, all of Natchez; one god-grandchild, Jordan Hutchins of Natchez; six sisters, Pearlina Terrell, Brenda Terrell and husband, Percy, LaDonna Williams and husband, Clarence, Joyce Williams and husband, John, and Brenda Washington, all of Natchez, and Dixie Terrell of Baton Rouge; six brothers, Isaac Terrell Jr. and wife, Deborah, William Terrell, D’Isaac Terrell, Eric Terrell and wife, Tonya, Carl Terrell and Edward Bacon, all of Natchez; seven aunts, Anna Dent, Addie Knight and husband, Joseph, Mary B. Phipps, Geneva Squalls and husband, James, Emma Blanton, Shirley Blanton and Josephine Blanton, all of Natchez; one uncle, Mack Blanton Sr.; one sister-in-law, Barbara Terrell of Roxie; one godsister, Francise Jones of Woodville; a special niece, Kenyata Terrell; a special sister, Shakeda Nelson of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Isaac Minor, Alex Speaks, Troy Whitley, Patrick Blanton, Reginald Drake, Jacolby Johnson and Chris Madison.
