The question of whether or not Wyatt Boothe will remain eligible for Cathedral High School was permanently answered Wednesday morning.

Mississippi High School Athletics Association executive director Don Hinton said there has been no change in Boothe’s eligibility.

“He is eligible to participate, and (the MHSAA) will not meet about the topic any more,” Hinton said.

Cathedral athletic director Craig Beesley said the school was pleased to hear Boothe’s eligibility concern be put to bed.

“Cathedral has always maintained high standards, and we will continue to do so in the future,” Beesley said.
