CEDAR HILL, Texas — Natchez native Tamica January Pleasant  and her husband Ivory Pleasant were recently featured in Southwest NOW magazine.

The couple was highlighted in the publication for their work at Amazing Grace Child and Family Services in Duncanville, Texas. The social agency is licensed by and contracted with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services for child placement, foster parent recruiting and provides free parenting training to the public, among other things.

The couple has three children, Madison, Chase and Chance Pleasant.

Tameka is the daughter of Penny January and William C. Johnson Jr. of Natchez.
