NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Alice Mae Hudson, 60, who died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bibleway Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Vincent Kirkwood officiating.

Burial service will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hudson was born on Jan. 15, 1954, in Helena, Ark., the daughter of Alfred Kirdwood and Mamie Taylor Kirkwood.

Hudson was a dietician prior to her death.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Antonio Hudson; and one sister, Allison Kirkwood.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Hudson; her mother; two sons, Corey Hudson of Slidell and DeArtist Hudson of Ridgecrest; two daughters, Jaquita Frank and husband, Jevin, of Opelousas and Natacha Hudson-Fisher and husband, Herbert, of Slidell; adopted daughter, Kim Melancon and husband, Dennis, of Westwego, LA.; eleven sisters, Carrie Woods and husband, Terry, Phahedra Kirkwood, Alfreda Kirkwood, Phoinece Green, Shandra Cromartie and husband, Gary, Valerie Smith and husband, Robert, all of Winston-Salem, NC., Erika Miller and husband, Clifford, of Woodstock, Ga., Michelle McClinton and husband, Thomas, Barbara McBride and husband, Richard, LaTanya Kirkwood and Chinita Kirkwood, all of Chicago; seven brothers, Alfred Kirkwood Jr., LaVandus Kirdwood, Shawn Kirkwood, Alvin Kirkwood, all of Chicago; Reuben McClain and wife, Michelle, of Winston Salem, NC., Rufus McClain and wife, Judy, of Seattle, Jeffery McClain and wife, Barbara, of Charlotte; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
