ROXIE — Funeral services for Lolita M. Lewis, 79, who died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, will be 11 a.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church in Roxie with the Rev. Thomas Foster officiating.

Burial service will follow at New Hope Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Wake service was from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service today at the church.

Lewis was born on July 25, 1936, the daughter of Emermic Gatson and Lillian Godeau Laborde.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James H. Lewis; and one daughter, Pamela Marie Woods.

Survivors include five children, Kim Dunson and husband, Lynn, Dale P. Bishop, Bobby Foster and wife, Helen, Peggy Stevens and husband, Bo, and Thomas Foster and wife, Tywanna; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Johnathon Foster, Ethan Foster, Travis Foster, Fred Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Kaleb Jun, Justine Smith and Joey Smith.
